Well, June has come and past, so it's time for the awards...
There weren't a lot of entries, but quality made up for quality, and as PDF grows (and I think up better contests) I expect more submissions.
To Nikkie:

Best of Show. Raven, your work is stunning, but I need to be fair and point out that the prize this month is to get your work up in Freeloads as a T-shirt transfer. After checking, we can't publish Nitro's design because of a trademark issue. And Nikkie's piece is time-dated, hence expired. I hate awarding stuff by process of elimination, and I'm really not doing that. Your use of colors and the theme fit right into summer.
If you'll email me with your design in PNG format, no larger than 7" across at 225ppi, I'll create and post the transfer today.

I loved the other's entries also! The design I created has personal meaning to me -- I've sent this crazy little traveling teddy bear on many vacations, he's very well-traveled. He's seen here sitting on a rock at the water's edge on the island of Grand Inaugua (one of the islands of the Bahamas) enjoying a wonderful afternoon. The hat and tropical shirt are ones I sewed just for him. 
Love that title, Gare! Bear/bruin at the beach -- what could be more fun!
